About Me
How I got here (the short version)…
Growing up in South Africa during a turbulent time, I was an optimistic, endlessly curious dreamer. Exploring nature, playing piano, and diving into books became my escape and survival strategy.
Like many ADHD minds, my career path was anything but linear. I was set on becoming a criminal profiler (“Mindhunter” vibes), so I double-majored in psychology and criminology.
But life had other plans.
After a challenging season, I set off on a journey that reshaped everything: teaching in South Korea, working as an au pair in the U.S., and eventually landing in Chattanooga, Tennessee, for my master’s degree.
Blending science, strategy, and soul in therapy…
In graduate school, I was turned on to neuroscience-backed approaches that create real transformation – quickly.
Having been diagnosed with ADHD, I did a deep dive into the ADHD brain: its magic, mayhem, and untapped potential.
I’ve since had more than 250 hours of continuing education in somatic-focused techniques, Rapid Resolution Therapy, ADHD/ASD (autism spectrum disorder), and nutrition for mental health.
I can’t wait to share what I have learned with you!
When I’m not working…
You’ll find me playing piano at events, tending to a jungle of plants in my house, creating arts and crafts, or traveling.
I love spending time with my loved ones: friends, family, and my dog, Winston.
